Defect Rectification
Defects unfortunalty will arise from works in the highway and under the current legislation the Utilities sector bears the brunt of inspections carried out by local authorities across the country.
We have dealt with local authorities across the country with respect to failed inspections and FPNs issued and on many occasions succeeded in reducing the overall number of defects, FPN's and the commercial impact this situation has for a company.
If you have outstanding defects that are mounting up we can help and take these defects and analyse to locate any that can be rejected and formulate an action plan to efficiently complete any that remain and reduce the backlog down to zero enabling the focus to shift from reactive to proactive and prevent a recurrence.

Street Works
In order to work on the highway in the UK you need to have a valid and granted works permit from the Local Authority.
There are a few ways of obtaining a works permit but by far the best system and the system we use if the governments own system call street manager that allows full tracking, monitoring and liveupdates both from site and the Local Authority.
We believe that getting a permit should not be a challenge and should be a simple afair allowing you to focus on the works at hand.
There are however many facets to obtaining a valid permit and not falling into the many pitfalls that the current legislation can create can be daunting and consume a vast amount of time and resources.
